Agreement To Publication

4.1 The corresponding author represents and warrants that the chapter does not violate applicable law or the rights of third parties and, in particular, that it does not contain things that are defamatory or that violate literary or intellectual property rights, intellectual property rights or personality rights. As has already been said, it is usually a good idea to get legal advice when concluding publishing contracts. Many publishers are vulnerable to changes to certain aspects of publishing agreements, but they also have provisions that are deal-breakers for them, meaning they can`t compromise. If your publisher isn`t able to change the contract the way you want, it`s up to you to decide if you still want to publish with them, even if you can`t retain all the rights you want.
